Erik J Pratt, Professional Juggler & Clown
Erik J Pratt has been performing as an actor and clown entertainer for over 2 decades. Starting as a simple (in more ways than one) professional juggler busking on the streets of Kansas City, Erik has continually looked to broaden his skills. After studying theater at the University of Missouri—Kansas City, he has spent 20 years performing at parties, events and on stages across the United States. Over the years, Erik has become an accomplished party clown, stilt walker, fire performer, and of course, professional juggler for hire. He also encourages his audience to act, juggle, and laugh with him on stage in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Erik has performed his interactive juggling shows at theaters, Renaissance Faires, and Street Festivals from Florida to Alaska. He’s toured with many theater companies over the years, including: Kansas City Repertory Theater, The Mystery Train, and Poetry Alive! He showcases many of his variety arts skills as his clown character Blipey, appearing regularly with The Rude Revue & Burly Q variety show in Kansas City. An accomplished stilt-walker, Blipey has performed both as a soloist and ensemble member with The Evaporated Milk Society. Educational theater has always been important to him and he has both performed with and written his own nationally touring school shows, entertaining 10s of thousands of students around the country, and hopefully inspiring the next generation of artists to start their journey.
