BDU is dedicated to the advancement of the worldwide burlesque and gogo dance performance, creating fun, classy, scintillating, artful, high performance tickle and tease which is neo-burlesque entertainment, aimed to entertain Kansas City event audiences and beyond.
BDU is comprised of talented, professional actors, gogo dancers and singers, all of whom have college degrees, and a third of the girls have completed or are currently working on Master Degrees. Each solo or collaborative routine’s creative idea, music choice, choreography and costuming comes from each individual performer themselves. These Luscious Ladies host the Kansas City Burlesque Festival and have done specialty choreographed and produced shows as well as stock performances for the Kansas City Arts Institute, Arts Alive, Encore of Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, The Pitch “Artopia”, Hotel Philips, The Nelson-Atkins Art Museum, Dining by Design, PoP Fest, philanthropic events, charities, weddings, parties, films, and more!
